To make a successful production to be enjoyed by the community, we need lots of help. We need talented performers to be our cast, we need musicians to play in the pit orchestra, we need volunteers to help with the many aspects of bringing the production to life, and we need the financial support of the many generous persons in our community.
On our Friends of the NLOC web page we listed the many ways volunteers are needed to stage productions by the Northern Light Opera Company of Park Rapids, MN. There are also many expenses involved: royalties, auditorium rental, set construction supplies, costumes production or rental, honorariums for musicians and guest directors, etc.
The Northern Light Opera Company is a 501©(3) non-profit organization, thus your financial contribution is tax deductible. While we know there are many organizations that need financial help, we hope many will honor our attempt to make a positive contribution to our community. Contributors are listed in our production programs.
