The week concludes with a free public performance on Saturday, June 20, featuring six brand-new plays performed by NLOC actors.

Northern Light Opera Company
Northern Light Opera Company has been offering ambitious musical theater programming in northern MN for over 25 years. From modest beginnings, NLOC quickly grew to present full-scale musicals, forming a partnership in 2013 with the Armory Arts & Events Center as artist-in-residence which continues to this day.
NLOC picks large-scale productions to engage diverse members of the community. With strong production values and a live orchestra, we offer a professional-level ‘big show’ experience at an inexpensive cost to Park Rapids Lakes Area.
In addition to mainstage shows, NLOC is keenly interested in fostering original work. The Workbench New Play Workshop and Filmmakers Intensive offers hands-on experience creating original theater and film work, and the NLOKids Theater Camp supports kids through the creation and production of their own original musical play.
With one eye on meaningfully engaging the community and the other on creating the best possible experience for theatergoers, Northern Light Opera Company works hard to bring excellence to everything it does.
